How to delete a backup & the do a backup

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I want to run a weekly backup of my OS drive onto a flashdrive. I am able to run the initial backup with all the extra bits to do a full recovery from the flashdrive without issue. When the subsequent backups try to run they fail because I run out of space. How should I set this up so I can delete the first backup and do a complete new backup or perhaps format the drive and run the whole process each time the backup runs?

Many thanks,

DS

Sim,

ATI never deletes a full backup before a new full is completed successfully. You could create a script or command line that deletes the backup and set up this script/command as a pre-backup task (in settings, backup options, advanced tab, pre/post commands)

Thank you.
As this is the 2nd copy of a backup, I will write a batch file to format the disk and start fresh each time.
