Can True Image Home 11 be updated to True Image 2013 for Windows 8
I have a copy of True Image Home 11 running on my XP system. That system will be coming down to be replaced with Windows 8 (uggg). Can I update TIH 11 to TI 2013 on Windows?
Many thanks...love my TIH 11...saved my tail more than once.

What do you mean by "update"? It sounds as though you would not install ATI2013 on the existing PC, but would install it on a new PC. If you're wondering if you qualify to buy ATI2013 at the discounted "upgrade" price, check the Acronis site (I'm not familiar of all the upgrade pricing).

I am wondering if my True Image Home 11 can be installed on Windows 8. If it can, I will buy the update. If it cannot, then I'll need to buy a new edition of TI 2013.
Hope that helps...

Do not install ATi 11 on Windows 8. It will not work and may cause problems.
With recent versions of ATI, it's posible to install an upgrade-priced ATI2013 without first installing the earlier version, as long as you enter both the serial number for the earlier version and the new ATI2013 serial number. I'm not sure that would work with ATI 11, though.
Do you really have ATIH 11, or is it ATIH 2011? ATIH 11 would be about five years old.

Yes, it is old...keeps doing work on XP though.

I'm not suggesting that you need to upgrade it for use on XP. If ATI 11 works, keep using it. I'm just uncertain how to handle using an ugrade deal from the older version. Plus, I don't even know if ATI 11 qualifies for upgrade discount to ATI2013 so, as I suggested, check the web site.

To my knowledge if you intend to still have TIH 11 installed on your XP system, you will need to purchase a full version of TI 2013 to install on the Windows 8 machine. If though you will be uninstalling v11 from the XP machine then you would be able to purchase the upgrade product and install that on W8.
