Can't get ATI PP to install
I have successfully installed ATI 2013 but cannot get the PP to install. I am certain I have the right number but the message immediately says it "cant find the file" after I enter the number. I also am frustrated with your questionaire when I try to get help from customer service because I can't come up with an error number since it gives me none. I just purchased and downloaded this today. Nice work whoever put that together. Grrrrr

Thanks for the reply. Checked and I definetely have 2013 build 5551 installed and activated. There isn't even the hint of it being trial. I went directly from ATI2012 to ATI2013. I can't get past the form you must fill out to get help from Acronis because I don't have an error code. Sorry to have to ask for help from other users. This isn't really your obligation but I do greatly appreciate your help.

Charles,
If you had the PP for 2012 have you uninstalled it? It needs to be uninstalled and then the 2013 PP installed.

I have not uninstalled it so I went to do that and since I installed ATI2013 on top of ATI2012 it says I can't uninstall the PP separately. I even tried to totally uninstall everything and go at it from scratch but Revo just spewed out every file and said to be very careful which files I deleted. Well I am not brave enough to start picking through those many files so I just went back to the image I had made after installing the ATI2013. I guess I might try it if I had some help from Acronis but again I can't get any help from them unless I fill out their crazy form with information I don't have and can't come up with since I don't have an error code number. I don't suppose you have any connections on the Acronis side that could help me install the PP I already paid for. Failing that I guess I would have to just give up. Any thoughts?

Revo will give you warnings because when you uninstall True Image there are filter entries and services that have to be removed.
After uninstalling 2013, uninstall the Plus Pack and reboot. This should be all you need to do, however if you want to play ultra safe you can then run the Acronis cleaner, however this will also deactivate though not uninstall other Acronis programs. Next, install 2013 and then the Plus Pack.
I'm surprised the Plus Pack wouldn't allow itself to be uninstalled when using Windows Add/Remove programs, but i ahve to say I've never tried uninstalling the PP after an installation of a different version of TI itself.

Thanks again, Colin. To be honest I have never used plus pack in the past. Perhaps that is due to my own ignorance about what it might do for me so this isn't any great loss. It's nice to know you guys are here to help since Acronis is so good at fending off people who have a legitimate need for their services. Merry Christmas and happy holidays to you and yours. I'm outta here.
