ftp connection problem

Thread needs solution

I have tried to create a file backup to my ftp server, but it only works at root. When I set the connection to root/myFolder, the 'test connection' is successful, but the backup returns the error in the attached graphic. I'd really like to be able to backup certain files to my ftp server, and would be grateful for suggestions how to do it properly or fix this error.

Thanks,
Craig

Craig,

In addition to my reply to your other thread, open Windows Credential Manager and delete the credentials for your network drive. Remake the task for the backup and reinput your credentials when asked. Check also whether the /myFolder folder is shared - this may or may not make a difference.

Thanks, again, Colin, but there are no credentials listed for Acronis in Credentials Manager, which seems odd to me.

Any thoughts on how I can set up a backup to a directory on my ftp server? I don't want to accumulate all those inc files under root.

Thanks,
Craig
