Raid 10 GPT MBR issues
I am using Acronis full 2013 to set-up multiple computers.
I assembled, set up and loaded the first computer and got everything running.
I have 4 1tb hard drives set-up as a RAID 10 array.
I am using windows 7 x64.
I generated a VHD of that computer.
I assembled the next computer with the exact hardware.
I have an external HD with windows and Acronis loaded.
I booted off of the external HD.
I started Acronis and tried to do a partition restore clone
Acronis does the clone and says"clone successful"
I shut down, remove external HD and start the computer, hoping the clone takes over.
I get the "no operating system can be found"
I can plug the external HD operating system back into the pc, start it, and I can see the RAID and I can see the drives are populated with the VHD information.
The PC will not boot from the raid.
I am starting to think it is being caused by the MBR to GPT automatic conversion. Acronis automatically converts the drive from MBR to GPT and I cannot find any settings anywhere that could change that.
So basically the Clone works, but the raid is not bootable.
Please help!
