Need to delay scheduled backup when computer wakes from sleep
I'm using Acronis 2011 build 6942 to backup a Windows 7 desktop computer.
My backup is written to to a USB3 external hard drive attached to an add on PCIx card. When the computer is being used, scheduled backups are completed without any problem.
The difficulty I'm having is when the computer wakes from the Sleep state to perform a backup. The backup starts before the hard drive gets remounted. It seems, that when the computer goes to sleep, the drive attached to the external card, goes into a Sleep state of its own. Once the computer wakes up, it takes about 2 minutes for the external drive to be reactivated. Prior to this occurring, the backup starts, doesn't find the external drive and stops. The backup fails.
Is there anything I can do to delay a scheduled backup for 2 to 3 minutes, when the computer wakes from Sleep?

I tried it, and it seems to be working.
Thanks

Good. How many seconds delay did you use inside your own file?
