Restoring single disk backup to RAID volume

Thread needs solution

Using an Acronis Home 2013 boot disk can a backup of a single disk volume with operating system (Win7 Pro SP1) and a considerable amount of registered software be restored to newly created 2 disk RAID 0 volume on the same hardware? The OS drivers necessary for the onboard RAID controller can be installed on the single drive before its backup image to be restored to the new "empty" RAID 0 volume is created on an external USB drive. In my instance the operating system was installed on the single disk but I neglected to set the BIOS to RAID ("RAID ready") when the OS was originally installed to the single drive. The motherboard is an Intel DZ77RE-75K. If possible I would like to create the backup, remove the single SATA drive, install two new identical drives, enter BIOS configure it for RAID as should have been done originally, then restart the system booting from the Acronis recovery disk and restore the image to the new RAID 0 volumes that can be prepared in the Intel BIOS setup/configuration on this particular motherboard.

I'll have to check, but I think you will need to have the PlusPack installed so that you can add the RAID drivers to Windows during the restore.
