Localhost issues

Thread needs solution

Hi all

We have used Acronis for some time with out any issues
I've been on this site all day and re-installing and uninstalling so many time's trying different things

All we get is can not connect to local host when trying to open Acronis
using a XP Pro machine, but this has happened on a Windows 7 box as well

We are at a lost and really need it to back up our customers data

any help would be help

Thank you for posting this question in our forum. I am happy to assist you. 

Can you please post more detailed information about the issue, like:

  • Used Acronis product(s) and build(s);
  • The exact error message;

When you cannot connect to localhost, the most common reason is a missing or not running Acronis Managed Machine service. Also the Acronis Remote Agent service should be up and running.
