Acronis Startup Recovery Manager for GPT disk

I am using windows 8 with a harddisc type: GPT with UEVI boot.
In my old pc I used a MBR harddisc.
I did use the Acronis Startup Recovery Manager.
Now I want to use it on my new system, but I read in the manual that using the Acronis Startup Recovery Manager, the MBR will be overwritten. I understand that.
But I can not read anything what happens on a GPT drive.
Who can tell me?
Can I use the Acronis Startup Recovery Manager on a GPT drive ?

It seems that no one can answer this question.
Even a answer from Acronis is not possible .
Better to switch to Paragon I think, reading all those problems with true image 2013
