Problems after update: No message-window popping up, GUI can not be started
Hello,
I think it was beginn of April when True Image 2013 alerted me to install an update. Since then, one thing is worse than before:
When backuping on a USB-disc or a network-path which isn't available, no window is popping up anymore most of the time. In the windows task-bar, I see the acronis-computer with the blue arrow moving, but clicking it just does nothing, so I don't know for which backup acronis is waiting for. Starting True Image from desktop with double-click does nothing as well in this situation. Only thing I could do is restarting the computer or killing the True Image-process from the task-manager.
The strange thing is: Sometimes it pops up, and then it says that something is missing, but it doesn't say WHAT is missing or which backup it tries do execute.
Are this known problems? What can I do about it? (Using Acronis Image 2013 Plus Package on Win7).

Thanks for your reply. Do you mean the windows control panel? Couldn't find any pluspack there...
I'll try the repair option.

Open Windows Control Panel and check for Installed Programs. In the list you should see both the True Image Main program and the True Image Plus Pack.
My suggestion is to remove True Image Plus Pack from your system before running the True Image main program repair from the installation file.
The reason for this is the Plus Pack HAS to be installed after the Main program, so removing it before repairing the Main program is necessary. After the Main program repair install has been completed, you can then re-install Plus Pack.
