acronis 2013 and RDP issues
I have PC1 with an acronis 2013 (6514)
Windows 8 prof x64
Mstsc 6.2.9200
disks C, D and G (with a acronis backups) (the last one is important)
Also i have PC2 with
XP Prof. SP3
disks C and G
When i connects from my PC1 to my PC2 via "mstsc" and press ctrl+x (ctrl+c, right click copy/cut) on some folder (it must be a lot of files in a folder) i see a windows tells me
that "preparing information for insertion" (at my pc this sounds in Russian, but maybe in English version it is "preparing paste information")
Why is this window appears and what is this for ? Maybe i will move folder to the same drive!
So what else interesting did i learn:
1 - if i delete letter of drive G on my PC1 - there is no such window
2 - i map only clipboard and drive C when i try to connect through RDP
3 - stoping afcdpsrv, AcrSch2Svc and syncagentsrv services don't make anything new
4 - Both of theese PC's are in a LAN, maybe thats do the trick
5 - At my drive G on PC1 there is a acronis 13 backups, i think this is important
6 - If i don't map my drive C - there is no such window
7 - folder that i try to cut may be on a Drive C or G of a PC2, no matter
10 - after i uninstall acronis i can press ctrl+x at my rdp session, but then i minimize rdp window and open local drive G, them maximize rdp windows and here we go, that window telling me it's preparing to insertion is here again
11 - i can rename the drive G to drive O at my PC1, and when i repeat steps described at a point 10 - window appears again.
12 - no matter where i press ctrl+x on drive C or drive G of my PC2.
13 - i make a clear install of windows 8, and i don't install acronis - i can't make this windows appears
14 - i install all updates on windows
P.S. Renaming the drive, don't mapo drive C and don't map clipboard - it's not the suggestions that I would like to hear at acronis forum.

Alexander,
True Image works better if remote drives are accessed via a network share. I've been thinking and I wonder if RDP is a problem due to the log in not being the same.
Does True Image work when you boot the machine directly?
I've never tried running True Image via Microsoft Terminal Services.
What I don't understand is you say you have 13 images, how did you get these?
Perhaps posting some screenshots would be of help.

I'm not trying to backup thought RDP. It happens regardless of my wishes. I just connect via RDP ant thats it. Btw there is NO acronis on XP, it's installed only on Windows 8. Hope this helped.
P.S. if i delete letter of drive with acronis backups on my Windows 8 machine - there is no such window when i connects via RDP.
