True Image 2013 Build 6514 Boot Disk Failure With Wireless Mouse
I use a Logitech wireless mouse (model M505) and a Logitech wireless keyboard (model K340), linked to a Logitech Unified USB receiver. While using True Image 2013 Build 5551, the world was good. I'm using Windows 7.
I then upgraded to Build 6514 a few days ago. And the problem is...? When booting with either the downloaded Build 6514 ISO image or a boot disk created from the Build 6514 program, I'm able to use the mouse to select the True Image 2013 option on the first menu screen, but at the next screen, where the Recovery option is selected, both the mouse and the keyboard are totally inoperative. Mouse Keys navigation is also inoperative. Nought.
As a result, the Recovery process cannot be performed.
I note I'm not the only forum user experiencing this type of problem. Refer to the forum entries:

Unfortunately, my computer's PS/2 port is inoperative, so I cannot use a wired mouse as a temporary workaround (presuming it would work).
I could revert back to Build 5551, or continue using the Build 5551 boot disk to recover Build 6514 backup files if that is a valid option. However, these are workarounds to a problem which should not be present. I thought the purchase price would buy me the privilege of having a working program.
Any suggestions to fix this problem?
Thanks

Thank you Colin B.
Firstly, my apologies for not including my post as a further entry in an existing post. By the time I realised this, I could no longer edit my post. Thank you for your courteous reply. I clearly, but unintentionally, did the wrong thing there.
Thanks for confirming the use of the 5551 boot disk to recover with 6514 images.

I'm also experience the same problem (wireless mouse not working with TI 2013)... with the 6514, then 6528, and finally with thee 5551 build. Very strange. All three work fine on my laptop with wireless mouse. Frustrating ...

If build 6528 won't wrk with your wireless input devices, you will need to contact Acronis and see if they can make a recovery CD specifically for your system.
@Randall, what brand and model is your keyboard/mouse? Obviously the temporary workaround is to plug in a USB or PSD mouse.

Thanks for the reply Colin.
As a last resort I moved the Logitech USB transceiver to a different port and ... it worked! This is great but ... I'd like to know WHY it worked as the two ports otherwise function identically. (The system is brand new.) I guess the problem is (mostly) resolved and informed Acronis support.

Randall,
On my Lenovo laptop there is one USB port that is an 'always on' port (the one on the right side; Edge 420), I have found that some external devices work better when attached to this port than the other two. Perhaps that is the same with yours.
