Drive backup reports disk full, but lots of space available !?

Thread needs solution

Hi,
I have a drive backup set up and running on my master PC, since a year or so.
To maintain Disk space I have set cleanup rules.
One full version each 5 increments
Keep no more than 5 Version chains

Today all of a sudden backup is failing due to lack of disk space.
The disk I am backing up is 465GB t/o 365GB free
My NAS device, where the backup goes is 3.6 TB t/o 782GB free
Current backup size is 407GB

No other irregular behaviours in my network.
PC is working perfect NAS is OK, so what the heck...

Any hint aprecciated.

Not sure what might be happening. Would you post a screen capture of your nas storage folder similar to this link. That might help.
you might check the nas for file errors in case the free space is being improperly reported.

I attached the content of my NAS Folder, also a screenshot of the status.
I had a filesystemcheck running during last night, no errors, same status of NAS.
Any other PC can store several hundred GB on the NAS w/o problem, just copied some folders to check.

Update:
I created a new job to backup all volumes to the same NAS, started it - works right away.
So I I'll deactivate the non working job, use the new job for a while, then delete old job and old files.
