Problems getting technical support for Acronis TrueImage 2014 premium and other questions

Thread needs solution

This is my second attempt to create a question at this forum this morning.

These are problems I am encountering with my newly installed Acronis 2014 premium.

1. When I attempt to get tech support, the drop-down menu only shows 2013, not 2014. As my support for 2013 has expired, I'm unable to submit a question to Acronis.

2. The pinned icon for Acronis on my taskbar is different than it was with 2013. However when I hover over that icon with my cursor, it says Acronis true image 2012. Why would this happen?

3. Do I need to create new startup media for Acronis true image 2014 or do the copies I created for earlier versions work on 2014?

4. I am getting " MBR Error 3 message. It says in NTLDR is missing. Press control alt delete to restart. When I do the latter, nothing happens. I am forced to shut down I did receive instructions from tech support on September 2012 that I should deactivate the start up recovery in start up recovery manager. This did not solve the problem today when this error message again appeared.

2. I've seen that happen when upgrading other apps, so I think it's a wrinkle of Windows when upgrading apps that pinned shortcuts don't necessarily update their names, not an Acronis issue. Delete the pin, create a new one.

3. Yes, create new Rescue Media.

4. Check in True Image: is Acronis Startup Recovery Manager deactivated? If not, deactivate it, and deactivate Secure Zone (after copying out your backup images).

I think Acronis have updated their support page. The dropdown selection box will only show products you have registered to your account, so if you haven't registered your serial number, do that first and then try again.
