Online Backup fails and job cannot be deleted - ATI 2013

ATI 2013 Build 6514 on Windows 7

I am trying to create an Online Backup job but cannot get it to run ("Acronis Cloud is temporarily unavailable") and I cannot delete the job from the Acronis console. There also doesn't seem to be any way to test the connection in the way that one can do with local jobs. And finally, each time I go back into the Settings menu, the job has lost the details I put in of what to backup, so I have to start again.

It seems to have been like this for some hours - is this a real system outage? Whatever the answer to that, it seems odd that I can't even delete the job.

It may be relevant that I am running jobs from a new Windows user profile having deleted a corrupt one. However other ATI jobs are running more or less normally.

Update: after leaving this problem for a few days because of other pressures, I managed yesterday to delete the Online Backup job. A newly created job appears to be proceeding normally.
