inpossible use of the program. (ti 2014)

Thread needs solution

hello,
I just bought this programm today but I am not able to use it : see enclosed screenprint : this is the only tab that can be opened, rest is impossible to go to.

Did you have a previous version of ATI installed?

What OS?

Thx for the fast reply Tuttle !! And sorry for the bad English.... Did an uninstall of 2013, and OS is Windows 7.

Uninstall ATI and then run the Acronis True Image Cleanup Utility for 2010-2014: http://kb.acronis.com/content/34876
Be careful to follow all instructions, including not allowing the utility to reboot until you've made the Registry edits.

Reboot and install ATI.

This is a strange problem. This is a home PC and not one set up by an IT department with group or user restrictions?

Try the following, if they still fail, open a support request via your Acronis account as you are still within your 30 day free support period.

1. Open up Windows Services.msc and check that all the Acronis services are set to automatic (for the moment) and running.

2. Open up MSConfig and check under the Startup tab that all the True Image items are ticked.

3. If the above all check out, run the True Image installer again and select the 'repair' option. I suggest making sure your firewall and AV software are temporarily disabled and it might be worth running th einstallas as Admin by right clicking on the file and selecting the 'run as ' option.

4. If you have anything like Roxio or InCD installed and running, try disabling them and see if TI behaves.

Are you installing TI for all users or as a single user?

Do you have autologon or have to enter your password to login to Windows desktop?

You might want to edit your screenshot as it shows your email address.
