Can I install TI Home 2009 (build-9709 or 9809) on Win 7/64?
I need some more advice on this question.
I have an install disk of TI 2009 b9709 and also have the downloaded update to 9809.
Will one, or the other, cleanly install on Windows 7/64 and work properly for the basic operations of full images, verify, and full image restores?
Will one of them allow me to open the TIB files with Windows Explores and copy files?
Some folks say "yes" and some say "no". Acronis says "no".
If I install 9809, can I clean install it, or must I install 9709 and then update?
Thanks,
Fungus

Keith:
Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
This is an example of how software users keep a software company in business. Without user help many would seek other products.

Fungus,
Before you install build 9809, uninstall any version of ATI you have on your system and reboot. If don't have ATI currently on your system then you're good to go with installing ATI 2009 build 9809.

Keith:
My install of 2009-9809 was to a new hard drive so I didn't need to worry about removing an old install. The install was simple and the software seems to do exactly what I want it to do. I also installed the Bart plug-in and the optional recovery CD choice, then created both the system built CD and the downloaded iso CD.
Thanks again.
