"Run at system startup with delay (in minutes):" No longer works

Thread needs solution

I've used the feature: "Run at system startup with delay (in minutes):", in True Image 2013. It worked fine.

However since I've updated to True Image 2014 this feature no longer works. Instead the backup will start as soon as I log into Windows after booting, resulting in Windows 8 being slow/unresponsive for 5-10 minutes while the SSD system disk is being backed up.

Can you please fix "Run at system startup with delay (in minutes):" so that the feature works again? I'd llike to delay the backup some 10-15 minutes after a booting the computer. When delayed 10 - 15 minutes the backup runs just fine in the background without disturbing/delaying my work.

Thank you.

Jasper,
Did you open the scheduler/advance settings and actually look whether the setting has a time value listed there?

This can be checked WITHOUT editing the backup task via the next link

Yes this is exactly where I configured it.

The Time I've value set is 15 minutes. Nevertheless the backup starts with no delay as soon as the PC is booted and I log-in. No delay is applied

In Acronis True Image 2013 this function worked and the back-up would be delay as specified by this value.

Jasper,
What I am understanding you to say is that you have looked/rechecked the current setting to confirm that the 15 minutes is still set after the installation of 2014.

I will call this post to the attentiion of Acronis so they are aware of this posting.

That is correct.

Thank you.

Hello Jasper,

we have no known issues which answer your description.

Probably the new scheduler was not correctly installed which affects running tasks.

Please download here and install the newest Acronis Scheduler , then restart your computer and check, if the issue gets resolved.

Thank you.
