Motherboard dying. Can I restore backup to new board

Thread needs solution

Hi, I have True Image 2013. My motherboard is on it's way out (freezes at splash screen every morning). I'm going to build a new system with a different motherboard, larger drives etc. but use the same operating system. So my question is, can I recover from the backup to the new system. I currently run a raid mirror configuration and will use the same in my new computer.
Also, I know Windows isn't transferable to a new system but if I can pull off this "backup to my new system", can I just input a new Windows key to make them happy. I did order a new Windows disk with everything else.
I thank you in advance for your time.

In order to restore to a different motherboard, you need the plus pack for 2013 when doing the restore.
If you do not have the plus pack version, then you will want to upgrade to 2014 Premium version and check their website, there just may be some specials at this holiday season.

In 2014, the old plus pack is now called the Premium version with the same capabilities.
I can't speak for the Windows key issue but that certainly sounds doable.
