Setup a new Full backup and now have many files 4Gb each.

I setup a new Full backup and now have 88 files 4GB each with the name in the form ...
My partitions_full_b3_s1_v1.tib

That backup was done at about 2:00 PM

I also specified daily incremental backups at 3:30 PM

In addition to the 88 files, I also have 1 file named
My partitions_inc_b3_s2_v1.tib 203 KB (this file was expected to be made at 3:30 PM)

In Disk Backup Options -> Advanced -> Backup Splitting
is set to Automatic ... and there is no option to split at 4 GB,

What happened?

What is the correct way to set this up?

Could it be, that your target is not NTFS formatted? There is a filesize limit on e.g. FAT32 drives ( 4GB) so image is split automatically into slices of 4GB each. Same would apply if you select a DVD-drive ( where you would need to change media to new one every 4.7 GB...........
