Guess I need to upgrade to True Image 2010. Downloaded the trial version just to get comfortable with it. When I open the recovery program and try to select individual files some file folders have a computer icon next to it and the folder can not be expanded. What does this mean and is there a setting to allow me to open the folder to select individual files and folders?

What OS is backed up and what folder(s) are you trying to access?

I am using Win 7 Prof. When I run the recovery module and select the individual file option the Documents and Settings folder has the computer icon instead of a folder and can not be expanded.

Documents and Settings is a JUNCTION. You need to browse the \Users folder.
