Remove Old Back up information!

Thread needs solution

HELP! I have at my wits end. While figure out how to remove an old back up. If I the software to delete the whole back up it never finished but spins and spins for hours on end. If do a "Setting only delete" the entry is removed but when I try to create a new back up it keeps saying it can't find the files which is correct as they were deleted.

I uninstalled the software and re installed but it found all my old backups. Is there a way to force an uninstall or clean install to clear out any old registry settings?

Thanks!

Use this method of deleting files from working tasks as the system tracks the numbering. Remember, if deleting incremental files, only the newest most recent inc can be deleted as the numbering must remain continuous. Only in differential type backups can older dif be deleted.

GH5. How to delete backup files using Acronis Backup 'Explorer'

I do not like using the other delete method found as an option inside each task.
It offers no prompts as to what is to be deleted. Use my GH5 link above as the better method of deleting files.
