Confused about how to delete specific backup versions...

Thread needs solution

So I read the instructions here: http://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/documentation/ATIH2014/index.html#…

on how to delete specific backups, seems simple enough. I navigate to the backup and recovery tab, I have 2 backups listed in the bottom part of the box. On the backup I want to delete versions from, I select the Recover button and then am confused. I am presented with a window as in the screen shot attached to the post.

I do not understand where I go from here, to get to this point: "In Backup explorer, right-click on the time line the version you want to delete, and then click Delete version."

The only option I see is to choose Recover Now button; however, I did not want to do that because I have never needed to use this function and am unsure if it will immediately start a recovery which I do not want, obviously. Where do I go from here?

GH5. How to delete backup files using Acronis Backup 'Explorer'

Be careful as to what you delete. For example, a backup chain that begins with a Full and then followed by a bunch of incrmentals; the only incremental that can be safely deleted is from newest (first deletiion) to oldest in strict reverse order from new to old This type backup chain requres that all the links be present in sequence from the beginning so it is not possible to just delete the oldest inc without ruining all incrementals.

The above comments do not apply to full only style backups, or to full plus differential backups.

The next step would be to create and use a new task but set up the new backup scheme for automatic cleanup so the program does the deletion rather than you performing manual deletions.

GH11. Create Custom Full Backup Scheme.Keep 4 versions (chains). The 4 is user choice.
GH12. Create Custom Incremental Backup Scheme. 6 Inc, Keep 4 chains. The 6-4 is user choice.
GH13. Create Custom Differential Backup Scheme. 2 Diff, Keep 2 chains. The 2-2 is user choice.
