Simplified user interface
Is there a simplified user interface for True Image 2014 that lets one manipulate backups using Windows Explorer without causing True Image to throw errors? Older versions of True Image, e.g. Workstation, made this trivial.
It will be difficult to adopt True Image 2014 if we can't easily move/copy/rename/delete backups using Windows Explorer as we did using older versions. Please advise.
Cheers and thanks.

How does one handle off-site storage? With old Acronis, we simply swapped disks, and everything worked fine. We used file name conventions to track backups, and we had years of no hassle service.
We've not formally tested moving disks offsite, but last week, we did remove all Acronis-related media from a server that had been doing scheduled Acronis backups. After reboot, this system quickly became bogged down with numerous copies of the same process being started. After deinstalling Acronis and reinstalling, everything seemed fine.
Is this an example of the grief one hits with new Acronis?
What is the recommended replacement? Will the golden oldies versions of Acronis function on Windows 7 & 8? If not, what is one to do?
Cheers and thanks.

You can try Acronis Backup 11.5 . All archive meta-data is stored in a file next to archive itself and not in a central database. An archice copied to a different location does not get confused with the original one.

Thanks for your help, we will shift our evaluation to Acronis Backup. We thought the consumer oriented True Image Home would be simpler to use than the professional Acronis Backup for PC, but not.
We would appreciate a contact in Acronis sales who is technical enough to understand what we need to do, and to assure us that Acronis Backup for PC will, indeed, let us continue our current backup procedures, including migration of physical media. We were quite surprised to find that True Image Home doesn't cope well with physical media changes, and want to quickly move to Acronis Backup if it solves the problem.
Cheers and thanks.
