TI 2010 has stopped working On W7 Enterprise with "Failed to open (initialize) the computer" exception .
I've tried repairing - then uninstalling & reinstalling TI 2010 and the latest SnapMan drivers but to no effect. It was working just fine until a bout a week ago, however every time I try to fire it up I get the following exception dialog:
Failed to open (initialize) the computer
Failed to initialize the snapshot manager library (0x100005)

The system cannot find the file specified (0xFFF0)

In addition I got the following logged in the Event log prior to me repairing\reinstalling (but it's not been seen since):

TI 2010 Build 6063, SNAP API 3.8.503
Installed TI first, followed directly by Snap drivers prior to rebooting.
Drive has been checked with both ChkDsk and Dell System Diagnostics - all reported clean.
Anyone got any suggestions as to how to proceed; I've yet to purchase a license (I'm on day 16 of the trial) and I'd really like to use the product but not if it flakes out on me like this.
Many thanks!
R

I have the exact same problem, but am using Win 7 Home premium. I have followed the above instructions with no success.
I have even used Revo Uninstaller and reinstalled TI 2010 build 6053 which is supposed to be the latest.
Where do I go from here?
