To many issues, uninstalling.

Thread needs solution

I had used Acronis True Image in the past. I upgraded to Windows 8.1, and Acronis True Image 2014 6614 only to have constant ongoing issues.

I read through the forums and sadly, I'm experiencing more than my share of issues.

Almost as bad as not being able to get consistent backups or clear space for new backups is the dreaded "Operations in Progress" crap that forces me to do a hard power off after a giving up after more than a few hours of waiting.

Uninstalling it, and waiting for a better update, then I might try it again.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Acronis support. A five-year old issue that persists.

And no one had the courtesy to step in and reply to this message.

I would not hold my breath waiting for a better update. Reports of this issue date back three or four versions. The only responses from Acronis are that this is as designed and that it takes time for the software to complete what it is doing. 12 hours?

That is just incompetent programming.
