Acronis Agent versions: supported NICs

version: Acronis Backup & Recovery 11.5.32308
I am working with some newer models of Lenovo workstations (M92p and M93p) and I'm having some troubles with getting their network cards recognized by the Acronis software. I know it is possible to customize the Acronis bootable media and embed the needed drivers.
My problem is the Acronis Agent application: once installed, in case of a disaster recovery, it won't be able to detect the NIC and do a recover triggered from the server console.

Questions:
1. is there a list of hardware supported by various Acronis backup builds? (my problem is the Intel 82579 Gigabit Ethernet controller)

2. is there any way to "upgrade" the Acronis agent application or am I forced to buy a newer version of the software?

There is no such list, but some hardware is incompatible with linux-based boot media (and restore with reboot functionality of Acronis Agent) due to lack of open-source drivers. Intel 82579 is reported to work with latest builds.
If you use version 11.5, you can update for free to any build of this version (the last one currently is 38774), however if you use components for centralized management (Management Console, Management Server, Storage Node) their build # must be not below than that of Agent.
