TI 2010 .exe does't even run

Thread needs solution

My TI 2010/Plus Pack download doesn't install. In fact nothing at all happens when I run the .exe file. Tried downloading latest build as well as iso image same result. I tried downloading on different days, same result. Have also tried different computers. Has anyone else had this problem?

Yes. I have a similar problem, when I try to install in safe mode. Nothing happens.

In normal mode it appeared to install. After reboot the computer went into endless load desktop black screen then reboot. (I don't have automatic restart checked in recovery console). This is trying to install the 6053 build of AT 2010

I haven't even tried the 6053 plus pack.
I assume that is to be installed after the standard pack???

6053 is probably their latest build. It can be installed without any prior versions installed.
In normal mode my installation does absolutely nothing. Haven't tried safe mode.

I have other issues. I'm still investigating. If I come up with any answers I'll post back.

Hello all,

Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

I'll do my best to fix the issue with the installation.

Lyle and Alith, it seems that something wrong is with the installation file itself (it's corrupted). Could you, please, do the following?

- Download a free checksum utility;

- Unpack and run the application. Browse and select the installation package you have downloaded;

- Click the "Start" button;

- The MD5 value for Acronis True Image Home 2010 build #6053 must be ca4b8c27a9e1224520fcc745d22e8236

If the checksum differs from the above you need to re-download the software, see Downloading the Latest Build of Acronis Software.

Please reply to this thread if the issue is not resolved, I'll be glad to assist you.

Thank you.

Didn't work for me. Same as before, it starts to install, gets about 3/4 thru and even gets to the point of putting desktop shortcuts then the computer reboots, desktop shortcuts gone, Acronis folder in my programs, but the installation is incomplete.

This is most frustrating. Is there perhaps some prerequisite, drivers or something I might be missing?
I did run sfc and found no problem. Other software installs okay.
