Restore from earlier version

Thread needs solution

I am about to upgrade to Win 7 from XP and currently use V9 of True Image.

I accept that V9 won't work with Win 7 and need to upgrade to V2010.

Question is, will V2010 read and restore V9 archives?

Hello David,

I understand the question and will do everything possible from my side to give you a clear explanation.

Using Acronis True Image Home 2010 you can safely restore, mount and explore backup archives created with Acronis True Image 9.0 Home. Check the following KB article for more details. Use our online store to purchase Acronis True Image Home 2010 Upgrade.

Norrie Acronis True Image Home 2010 is fully compatible with Windows 7, see the following article.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you.

This takes the biscuit.

It actually is not completely compatible with windows 7,

please see the following support forum for the plethora of problems.

Of course, that would assume that support actively read and engage with their own product support forum.

If it was compatible then why did your software fail me, and why did your company fail me, and why did you refund me my money.

Potential customers reading this forum, read the user experiences before moving from a product trial, and have another source of recovery as a TI recovery may nuke your system.
