Im using the latest sware. My problem is: I do a partition backup of my hard drive (win7). I want to format the drive and restore the image and reboot. But I get missing bootmgr.

What am i doing wrong. I select backup partition, select the main and the windows partition to be backed up and the destination. All goes well

When I restore, it does it fine but just wont boot. When I backed up I selected all partitions on the c: drive.

Do I need to backup the little windows partition..?

If your Windows 7 installation has the SR partition, you would need to include it in the backup and also restore it. That partition is the booting partition and includes the booting files (bootmgr and \Boot).
