Error 0x00010400

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I do have 3 licenses of TIH 2012 Update 2.1 Build 7133. On one system I get the error message 0x00010400. I cannot identify this error on any support page. Can anyone help me?

The system is a WIN7 x64 machine and the error occurs while making a full backup from one internal disk to an external USB disk.

Please provide more information about your environment.

Are you performing the back up task in windows, or the recovery environment (acronis boot CD)
How many partitions on the source drive
Are you using encryption of any sorts?
How is the USB drive formatted
Does it have any manufacturers tools/utilities installed

Have you performed a chkdsk /r on both source and target disks
