Disable Update Notifcation ?

Keep getting notices for a new version of True Image, how do i disable this notification message, its very annoying.

You could try disabling True Image Monitor, however, if you do this you will no longer be able to receive emails about the state of your task (if you have enabled this), nor will the tray monitor work.

There are two things to try, first is to disable notifications in the system tray (right click and change the setting), the other is to disable the monitor in MSConfig under the startup tab.

I have successfully solved this issue on two computers:
In the pop-up there is a wrench tool. Click the wrench tool and it will take you to the "Notification Area Icons" in Windows. Change Behaviours to "Hide icon and notifications". Click OK. Done! :)

That works for me. :)

You will however also lose other (useful) notifications like when a backup is running/finished etc.

I added a Firewall rule to block "C:\Program Files (x86)\Acronis\TrueImageHome\TrueImagemonitor.exe" and have not seen the message again after many re-boots. (I use Bullguard but the same should work with any firewall you are using)
