Still can't restore Win7 64bit to disimilar hardware

Thread needs solution

I have both AT 2010 and the $30 Plus Pack.

Very first try was to clone to another hard drive and I get the windows 7 0xc000000e required device is inaccessible on the new hardware

Then I put all the drivers in a folder on a usb drive and a backup putting a backup on a usb drive standard and the result was windows 7 0xc000000e required device is inaccessible after I booted the copy I wrote to my hard drive from the usb drive.

Then I download the new iso from the web site and try and use this to mount it: http://www.themudcrab.com/acronis_grub4dos.php
I can't even see ANY drive, after I press refreash in Win7 64 bit with this - so it fails at almost the first step.

Then I do this:

Not sure which to do of the 3 for win7 so I do the syslinux thing and that gives like 4 different errors. And not sure if I need the iso file or where to put it (I just put in root directory)...

Well whats next. I just want to clone or restore a backup of win 7 64 bit system to another computer, which uses the exact same video and chipset drivers as the original backup or clone suggested by nivida based upon the motherboard chips. I really don't consider this "disimilar hardware", but have made a folder containing these on the root of the usb drive.

nForce Driver

Version: 15.51 WHQL

Operating System: Windows 7 64-bit
Language: English (U.S.)

Version: 196.21 WHQL
Release Date: 2010.01.19
Operating System: Windows Vista 64-bit, Windows 7 64-bit
Language: English (U.S.)
File Size: 126 MB

The boot drives are IDE and there are SATA drives (storage only) in the systems if that means anything (habit from Win 2000).

Ill probably try and burn the iso to a dvd but would like to boot from a usb drive instead ....

Ok I just used easus or something to clone the drives. I dont think that acronis software was to blame though. ON one computer the bios was old, on the others it seems that 600 watts is insufficient power. If I started win7 with 1 drive its ok but with two it stops during the screen with the 4 globs. By just putting each drive on a different power cable it worked (but with both on the same cable it fails .... ). So first thing people should do is swap out power cables if there more then one drive in the system.

And on yet another computer I had something set in the bios to "sata" when is should have been "ahci"

Well at any rate finally cloned to 6 machines ...
