Acronis services

Thread needs solution

Hi
Can someone please tell me how many "services" does Acronis load into Windows?
Thanks

Services as such:

Acronis Nonstop Backup Service
Acronis Scheduler2 Service
Acronis Sync Agent Service

There are also processes which are either started on each startup (e.g. trueimagemonitor.exe, tibmountermonitor.exe), or may be invoked when the product GUI is started or upon a particular operation (trueimage.exe, trueimagehomeservice.exe, trueimagehomenotify.exe).

Thx,
Alexander

Just one thing to add: make sure NOT to change the accounts under whch the actual services run (nonstop, scheduler, sync I mentioned in the beginning).

They must all be configured by default to run under LocalSystem => changing it will lead to non-functioning or some unpredictable results.

Thx,
Alexander

Hi
I am having problems with two things, Drive cleanser and E mail notifications and I was just checking to see if I have all the services loaded.
Thanks again

MachineGun,

DriveCleanser: I'd go with using bootable media (to avoid any conflicts from other processes running in Windows). Just boot the machine from the media, and from Tools section choose to use DriveCleanser.

E-mail notifications:

1. Check via telnet that respective e-mail server is accessible via the port you specify:

2. https://kb.acronis.com/content/46840

=> check in particular the "Firewall, antivirus or other security software block notifications" section. Need to add exclusions.

(+ additional general checks which may help: https://kb.acronis.com/content/46720)

Thx,
