Restoring OS on a PCI SSD that requires drivers

Hi, I'm unable to restore a backup of Windows 8.1. It's installed on a OCZ RevoDrive X2 PCIe SSD. When I first install windows the setup needs a driver to find the drive. I think this is why I can't restore my OS image. Is there a workaround to this or any other suggestions of what could be the issue? Thanks.
