Reverting to 2014 from 2015 Fails
I reinstalled ATI 2014 Standard after removing buggy 2015 version. Installer downloaded most recent version from Acronis. Provided my serial numbers when asked. Installer reported success. Clicked the desktop icon and received an error box that says "True Image is Not Installed"
The installation does appear in Programs section of the control panel. Windows 7 x64. Of course my case is no longer supported by Acronis. I think I have a system backup that dates before I installed the Acronis update. I guess if the forum experts can't suggest a solution, I'm stuck restoring an very old system version.
However - this is also a warning to those who might consider trying 2015 - there might not be a way to get back.

Thank you for pointing out the clean up utility. I had restarted the machine before attempting to carry out the re-installation.
As it happens, I found a Windows restore point that was created just before the install of ATIH2015. The restore went quickly and smoothly and I did not have to re-create the various backup plans I use. As it turns out, the only system changes I had to make were a couple of MS updates. I do see that my working version of ATIH2014 is not the most recent. What's the best path to take if I want to update?
