I am testing the Mac version on my MacBook Pro, backing up to a Synology DiskStation SAN on my home network.

Arconis is configured to automatically back up at 10:00pm... But unless I manually connect to the SAN via the Finder, the software says the destination volume is not available -- it won't go out and look for the SAN, the way Time Machine does

Have I configured it wrong?

I have the same issue, SMB needs to be re mounted after NAS sleeps at night for power saving so I am looking at auto mounting shares for the backup, also performance is slow backing up compared to windows on same NAS, and the next backup after remounting is another full backup!

My Mac-2.tib 199Gb
