How secure is the Acronis cloud?

Thread needs solution

Ok - Acronis will say: Of cause, the cloud is absolutly secure!
But after all the (new) awarenesses regarding attempts of some govermental organisations (e.g. NSA) my question is very simply: Are there any backdors in the Acronis cloud?
There are no terroristic data on my desktop, but it is the first time, I give away a lot of my very personal data outside of my rooms! May be, the data are encrypted, and if you have enough power you can knock out any encryption. But what kin of encryption is this and is there anyoune who can go around?

mny tnx, Holger

Hello, I have the same question and see that there is no answer since 2013...
And: I got no answer from Acronis.
Where is the home of the servers? In Europe we are very angry about illegal NSA practise and worry about our business and private data.
If you are a serious partner, please give us an answer.
Thanks, Rainer

I have got no answer too! And that is why I now (just now) have finished my cloud activities with Acronis.

On a meeting with Alumny at the university I heard a very interesting sentence: Only the feeling, that the privacy might be broken, changes the behavior!
