Where Is The Location of 2015 Backup Logs
I installed 2015 and have been making my way through the new work flow. I must say that it's not as intuitive as I had hoped. 2014's work flow wasn't perfect but all of the features were easy to find.
I'm looking for the "View Logs" function. This is critical to understanding your current risk standing; i.e. what backups had difficulties. I only seem to be able to see the last backup results (of which there is no detail).
Is this hidden somewhere? I reviewed the user guide and there is no mention for viewing history of the backups.
Thanks.

I want the logs back. E-Mail notification seems to be buggy. When I send test-mails, sometimes it works an sometimes not.
Sometimes ATI even gives an error message (sending test-mail) and regardless I get the mail.
Where can I found the backup log to open it manually?

Windows Vista/7/8/8.1/10 the logs will be found at:
c:\program data\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Logs.
If there are problems, a more interesting set of logs are found at the above path but \ArchiveExplorer instead of Logs.

Thanks Colin,
Do you know if they are working on restoring this functionality?
It really is critical to have all this information in one place and easily accessible. I would frequently use the calendar to determine if I was having intermittent issues - which also helped me trouble shoot a USB3 issue when 1 out of every 5 or 6 backups would fail.
I have since turned on email notifications which is useful but doesn't really present the backup history in a consolidated view which would give me a better sense of risk.

Unfortunately I don't. I assume their thinking is, the logs could be confusing at times (though that would be solved by making them more verbose), and, probably from the AECP feedback noticed not many people used them, so they removed the easy access option. In their view they probably assumed people would raise a support call for problems and as the logs get bundled up in the system report, that is as far as they went.
This version (2015) I think is their first effort to make the imaging process relatively simple and W8 + like. In my view what they really need is to follow to some extent the methods used by Firewall/AV software - you get a choice of using a basic GUI or an 'advanced GUI' for those who like to tinker.
I'm speaking here just for myself, it may be that in the future they will position TI as the basic GUI version and make the Acronis Backup Workstation the vehicle for those of us who like to have more control and options.

I personally think that 2014 is (was) much better than 2015. In 2015 they left out functions like log viewing that I used in 2014. If they simplify things too much why not switch to windows backup and save some money? For instance, on a bu I did recently, I did not receive an email that it failed. I could not figure out what went wrong as all I saw was a big red x. Lots of times when the system said it failed was not doing the backup, but deleting old backups.
If they don't add some of these things back, I see no reason to give them more money on future versions.
