My Upgrade is already registered?!

OS : Windows 7
PC : Acer Travelmate 7750G
Acronis Software :
Acronis True Image 2012
Acronis Upgrade :
Acronis True Image 2015

I've recently bought the Acronis True Image 2015 for PC Upgrade for my 2012 version,
payment and download succeeded, I received the mail of cleverbridge.

However, keen on registering my acronis products, I've found that I couldn't register the upgrade,
nor is it mentioned in the 'My Products' panel, which thus only contains my 2012 registered version.

I registered the 2012 version with its serial again and experienced no problems.
When I register the 2015 upgrade with the serial provided in that mail, which does work on the setup to install the upgrade, the Product Register section in the 'My Account' page, mentions that I have to check the following :

[My Serial Number] is already registered.

While I'm very certain that it isn't or shouldn't be, unless I'm unaware of something here?
How are upgrade serials registered and is mine already taken then?
What am I supposed to do to register my upgrade then?

Upgrade serial numbers are registered the same way as the usual ones.

Can you please send me your license key in a PM so that I can check it in our database?
