extended capacity manager failed, disk stuck at half capacity?

I got a western digital drive that came with a western digital edition of arconis,ver. 2013 I believe. Using the extended capacity manager crashed the program, and now the 4tb drive seems to only be recognized by anything at 2tb max. Trying to use the add new disk in arconis will tell me I need to remove the extended capacity with the Extended capacity manager, and trying the extended capacity manager will tell me there is no extended partition. I then tried removing the partition with windows disk manager, but the drive still only shows as 2TB max on attempting to repartition. How can I reset the hard drive to factory defaults?
