B&R10 and iSCSI

Thread needs solution

We are backing up WIN2008 servers with iSCSI volumes from a HP Lefthand soultion.

When Acronis B&R10 backs up these iSCSI volumes, it always times out the iscsi connection for a brief instant. The problem is this has caused a corruption in the sql database that resides on the volumes.

Any workarounds for this? I tried backing these volumes without VSS, but it still times the iSCSI connection.

 Hello,

Thank you for posting your question, I will be happy to help.
Please enable Microsoft VSS instead of Acronis VSS and see if the issue remains. You can learn more on how to do it in this article
If the issue still persists, please try to perform NT backup and let us know the results.
Also please describe the setting of your iSCSI connection. How have you configured the connection? This will help to localize the issue.
We are looking forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience. If the provided information is not clear or if you have any other questions do not hesitate to post them and we will be glad to answer.
Thank you.
