Upgrading from ATI 2012
Hi,
I'd like to upgrade from ATI 2012 to ATI 2015 but only if it fixes two problems :
1. Restoring a disk image from a network drive in ATI 2012 is extremely slow (24 hours to restore 40 GB - the backup takes only 90 minutes). Is this problem fixed in ATI 2015 ?
2. I'm aware of the "leftovers" problems when uninstalling ATI 2012. Does installing ATI 2015 merely replace ATI 2012 or will I have to uninstall ATI 2012? In which case, I know that uninstalling may not work and that I'll have to manually cleanup the system entirely because ATI 2012 takes over the Windows file system and does not restore the original state of the system when uninstalling. Is this issue fixed in ATI 2015 ?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
OK. Let's summarize :
- No direct access to support. Since I'm using that "old" version, my access to support has expired.
- No answer to my questions about upgrading to 2015
- No answer to my messages sent to Feedback
- Huge problems after installing a NAS on my network and trying to backup to it.
- ATI 2012 Home uninstallation still not clean, even after using the cleanup tool. I had to cleanup the registry manually.
When I was a Microsoft development MVP, many years ago, I have been an Acronis evangelist and I was very satisfied with their products. I recommended their products to many colleagues. The support was responsive (just because I was an MVP?) and their products stable. I still had an enterprise server version running recently on Windows Server 2003 until I installed a NAS on my network. After purchasing ATI Home 2012, I had noticed many bugs that were never fixed. After installing the NAS I definitively lost any trust in this product.
What a pity! Sorry, bye bye Acronis, hello Paragon.
