universal restore cant find driver

Thread needs solution

You do not provide much information here however, if you have the option to ignore or cancel the request for such driver do so and allow the universal restore to continue.  After complete attempt to boot the restored drive, it should work.  Once booted you can update your USB drivers using Windows Device Manager.

Thanks. I did try ignoring the messagexd but the computer did not boot up windows. From  my searches for this driver it appears to be an AMD  driver and may be part of the display software. Have looked on amd site but could not find the driver there. Contacting them direct  does not appear to be possible!

I will try doing the restore again

Hi!

The driver is still reported as missing and universal restore 2016 will not continue without it.

The dead computer was an HP 5-1001TX Ultrabook that was bought with Win 7 installed.  It was recently updated to Win 10 via the Mictosoft free upgrade program, and was working well until it crashed.

What can I do to get a copy of  PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_7807&SUBSYS_8137103C&REV_39 'configured for Windows 10'?

What can I do next??

Mike

Normally, all necessary drivers are published by the new computer manufacturer on their web site. If the new computer is a recent ultra book there might be a recent disk interface, or maybe a recent disk controler, but it should be published.

My question is why are you using Universal Restore in this situation?   Did you upgrade the hardware in the machine in some way like replacement of the motherboard for instance?
