Greetings,

Amongst other things, I see the following error In all three logs.

+ <event code="65520" id="3" level="4" line_tag="0xBD28FDBD64EDB8BC" message="Not enough storage is available to complete this operation" module="0" time="1398510003">

This probably indicates another issue because the SR partition is likely only 100mb.

I would safely disconnect my external.  Restart my machine.  Perform a chkdsk /r of my OS drive.  Perform a repair install of ATIH. Restart again and perform a chkdsk /r on my external.  Retest

I just upgraded Acronis True Image 2015 to Acronis True Image 2016 for 3 computers. Everything backs up as it should, but, on my laptop, I keep getting this pesky error message popup stating, "Acronis True Image Operation Has Failed"; but it hasn't. Any fixes for that?

Hello Steve,

There is a "ghost" task in Acronis scheduler which does not have any real filling. It is started according it former schedule, but as there is no real action associated with it, 1) it always fails and 2)you do not see it as normal backup job in the program interface. That non-existent task may remain in Acronis scheduler when backup task deletion did not fully complete for any reason and was removed only partially: just from the list of backups, leaving scheduled event in the internal Acronis scheduler.

In order to get rid of it you can do either of the following:

1) recreate the entire scheduler database as explained at https://forum.acronis.com/forum/99525#comment-324836. This is a simpler way of addressing the issue, but will require that you re-add previously made backups to the list and re-configure backup jobs after applying that solution.

or

2) locate just that non-existent task and remove it from Acronis scheduler individually, without touching good valid backup jobs. See https://kb.acronis.com/content/1859, you will need to start Acronis Scheduler Manager, get the list of all tasks` ID with 'get list' command and delete those that do not have any scripts associated with them. Task ID is shown after 'script:' in scheduler manager. Real scripts are stored in the folder C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts on your computer. Each file there corresponds to a backup job that you have configured and see in True Image interface, those are your good and valid backup jobs that you do not want to remove. Note their file names and delete the rest from Scheduler Manager as explained at https://kb.acronis.com/content/1859. This approach is much more complicated than first, used only when there are lots of set up backup jobs and re-configuring all of them from zero (first solution) is not acceptable for any reason.

Regards

Thank you, Slava. I solved this another way....I uninstalled the program and re-installed it. Problem solved. I do like your solutions better, though; if it happens again, I will try those first.

Thanks again.
