Congradulations Acronis :(
I tryed to restore a backup from My WD passport(my backup drive) and now system cannot find any drive, including the DVD drive. So congrats as it seems to have whiped my drive.
Not sure what more info you need than that. Its an asus
G series laptop. i7 HQ processor, GTX m graphics. I hope this can be fixed simply by somehow adding a drive letter somehow. But now I cant get back to BIOS screen cause keeps looking for bootable media.

I have regained access to the bios by setting a password. (F2 seems to be the only key that doesn't black screen me for 2 min) I somehow got a blue screen to come and say my system need to be repaired(really?) I cant seem to find the winning combination of instructions to get to recovery disk. Either the black screen tells me Reboot and select proper Boot device, Or I just get back to bios. I changed thenboot order many times, created new boot options that it can see on my sandisk thumbdrive(I copyed disk info from CD recovery. Can I do that?
Im kinda sick of hen pecking options.
