Hello Ofir,

Thank you for using Acronis Products

Thanks for your feedback. At the moment, the following Acronis products support Windows 7:

(!) Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 supports Windows 7 with the following limitations:

  • Mounting backups stored in Acronis Secure Zone is not possible;
  • Mounting backups located on a network share in read/write mode is not possible;
  • The Active Restore feature is not available when restoring a system volume in Windows from a backup stored in Acronis Secure Zone;
  • User accounts generated for Acronis services during the product installation may appear on the Windows 7 logon screen.

Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Family is still using old drivers maybe next version want use this drivers and i really don't understand why uninstalling the software doesn't remove all the drivers and leave some behine and i have problem with one of the services and with permisions with a registry key in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID so i can't install it now until i figure out what in going on with this windows permisions and what i do with the old drivers you have installed in my computer thanks a lot for all your help.

 I have some commas and semicolons for sale if you feel the need to use them in your posts.

Not all drivers need to be updated to be used in W7, I've a number of drivers that came out for XP and are working (so far) quite happily in W7 Enterprise, Ultimate and Pro.

In my experience very few software uninstallers remove all registry entries so whilst annoying, Acronis are no different in that respect.

What version and build of W7 and build of ABR10 are you using?

it's not registry entries it's an actual file and i too thoughet that i can use old drivers that worked "fine" but then i'v discoverd that one of i'm not sure which one caused problems with sleep and hibernation mode but i'm quite sure it's one of acronis but any way i have no intention of checking it more thurrely at the moment or have the time for it and who knows weather it's caused stability problems in the os and i'm using win 7 7600.6385 msdn rtm and at the moment i'm not using any ABR10 because it doesn't want to install properly and i want be here for some weeks so i don't have to check it now but i used ati 2009 12 latest version when i discoverd the problem.
