Restore queued.

Thread needs solution

I am using True Image 2016.  I tried to restore a previous tib file within windows (win 10).

The restore is currently "queued".    I wonder what causes queuing and how to avoid it in future.

Thanks.

Jorge, a queued status would normally indicate that you already have an Acronis task active in your system, though I have not encountered a restore operation becoming queued?

I would strongly recommend that you should perform any restore operations from the Acronis bootable rescue media if this includes any Windows OS disks or partitions, as this will always require the system to be restarted to perform the restore operation.

Steve.  I repeated the restore about 5-6 times within Windows.  All came out queued.   I understand that True Image runs background 24/7 if computer is on.  I wonder its background running causes the queu or not.  I have never experienced queu in the past 10 years with Acronis true image.  This is the first encounter ever with 2016 True Image version.  It is very annoying.

As you suggested, the use of emergency boot disk allowed to restore it.  Thanks.

Jorge, what exact type of restore are you trying to do here?
