Acronis runs volume backup as soon as I start it.
Hi, I had a problem with Acronis failing to respond when I clicked on the icon. I got the "analysing partitions" boxes etc but when it drew the normal window it just stayed white, never came back to me.
I did a repair install. After that it runs a partition backup as soon as I click on the icon, rather than starting the product and offering the usual menus.
I deleted Acronis and did full re-install - it still does the the partition backup as soon as I start it and I can't do anything else with it. Acronis closes after this backup. Help!
The version is 2010, latest level. OS is Windows 7, 64 bit, fully patched. Acronis has been working ok, it's just gone nuts out of the blue.
Thanks,
John

If the One-click icon is on your desktop, you can delete the shortcut. One-click is available from inside the program and running One-Click from inside the program will restore the icon to your desktop should it be needed. You can safely delete the desktop icon for One-click.
If your One-click is located on your start menu/program/acronis menu, you can grab the entry with your mouse pointer and drag it to the bottom of the listing so its menu position has less chance of being mistakenly chosen.
The delay may also be TI checking for updates. You can turn this off. It selection button is either in the help menu or in one of the options inside the program. I don't have 7046 currently installed so I am unable to be more specific.
