"USB memory sticks need to be FAT32 formatted to be bootable"
but if i store image to usb memory what format usb memory should be then.
"Internal drives larger than 4TB should be GPT with NTFS."
i have 1Tera hdd and i make it GPT, did i make mistake?

Dorf, for storing Acronis backup .TIB image files you should be storing these on a USB external HDD which is formatted as NTFS where this can be GPT.

USB bootable flash drive should be MBR and FAT32 and only need to be 1-2GB, but can be up to 32GB. I use SanDisk Ultra Flair 16GB because they were only about $7 when I bought them a year ago, I liked the size and metal casing and can still put some portable apps on the drive as needed too. For the price of flash drives these days, 16Gb or 32Gb drive is nearly as cheap (if not cheaper) than an 8GB drive, and there's really no point buying 4Gb or less now with prices being so cheap.
USB external hard drives (not a USB flash drive), should be used for storing backup images and I'd recommend using GPT and NTFS for that.

I'd like to comment on storing images to USB memory sticks. Dorf, you can do that, no problem! Choose NTFS when formatting the stick. Besides, if you want further optimization, choose the maximum value from available for "Allocation unit size" parameter.
It is nice to have an entire system image on a portable USB pendrive - much more easier to carry and handle overall compared to conventional external HDDs.
Regarding the photo of the boot menu that you posted: bootable media should be booted using the item that has "UEFI:" prefix. The other option will not work for system restoration.

Slava, we agree that you can store backup images on USB memory sticks formatted as NTFS but not when you want the same stick to be bootable as Rescue Media which requires the stick to be formatted as FAT32.

Hello Steve, I agree with you. It was just the photo capture of the boot menu that made me think that Dorf intended to boot from a DVD disc and use the USB stick purely for storing backups.
